Social Housing Reform (Flexible Purchasing and Remedial Matters) Bill

This Bill amends the Housing Restructuring and Tenancy Matters Act 1992 to allow the social housing agency (currently the Ministry of Social Development) to enter into more flexible and innovative purchasing arrangements for social housing. It creates a ministerial direction power for the Minister responsible for the agency that enables the agency to enter into tailored agreements with social housing providers.
