Road User Charges (Temporary RUC Reduction Scheme) Amendment Bill

This bill requires Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, as the collector of road user charges (RUC), to apply a 36% discount to all legislated rates of RUC, time-limited to 3 months, and gives it the power to issue assessments if RUC licences are purchased for distances that are excessive, unreasonable, or otherwise abuse the 3-month reduction.
