This bill amends the Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust deed to allow the trust to provide social and affordable rental housing and associated services beyond Christchurch and Banks Peninsula.
Fuel Industry (Improving Fuel Resilience) Amendment Bill

Sustainable Biofuel Obligation Bill
The bill introduces an obligation for any person or company that imports or refines more than 50,000 litres of liquid fossil fuels for transport in New Zealand, excluding aviation fuels, to reduce the greehouse gas emissions intensity of those fuels by also supplying sustainable biofuels.
Energy Resources Levy Amendment Bill
The key purpose of this bill is to ensure that the Crown receives a fair financial return for its natural gas, which aligns with Principle 8 of the Government’s Resource Strategy Responsibly Delivering Value – A Minerals and Petroleum Resource Strategy for Aotearoa New Zealand: 2019-2029.
Energy (Fuels, Levies, and References) Amendment Bill
This bill aims to strengthen New Zealand’s fuel resilience and economic security by adding the purpose of meeting the reasonable costs and expenses of the Crown in promoting resilience of engine fuel supplies in New Zealand as an additional purpose for which the petroleum or engine fuel monitoring levy can be applied.
Construction Contracts (Retention Money) Amendment Bill
This bill amends the Construction Contracts Act 2002 to strengthen and clarify the retention money regime in the Act.
