This bill will repeal the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002, which is now spent.

This bill would validate a number of rates and penalties for non-payment that have been collected where irregularities occurred in the resolutions setting the Council's rates for the financial years 2003/2004 to 2012/2013.

This bill reflects the local, national, and international heritage significance of the Arts Centre. It is intended to provide legal foundations for the trust board to continue to be able to respond to, and recover from, the impact of the earthquakes.
