This bill reinstates the requirement for a poll of affected electors in each district or region to ensure support for changes to the organisation of local authorities and restore the democratic right of constituents to participate in changes affecting them.

The policy proposals in this omnibus bill are all aimed at assisting the Government’s response to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak including targeted measures aimed at providing relief to those that have been economically affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
