This bill amends the Overseas Investment Act 2005 to reduce compliance costs and make decision making timelier, while also ensuring that the Government has the tools necessary to safeguard New Zealand's national interest, including its national security and public order.
Education and Training (Early Childhood Education Reform) Amendment Bill
This bill amends the Education and Training Act 2020 and aims to improve the effectiveness of the early childhood education regulatory system for children and parents, and reduce the regulatory burden for service providers.
Medicines Amendment Bill
The purpose of this bill is to increase patients' access to medicines by reducing some of the barriers to access currently in the Medicines Act 1981.
Regulatory Standards Bill
This bill aims to reduce the amount of unnecessary and poor-quality regulation by increasing transparency and making it clearer where legislation does not meet standards.
Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill
The purpose of this bill is to set out the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in legislation and to require, where relevant, that those principles must be used when interpreting legislation.
Education and Training Amendment Bill
This bill amends the Education and Training Act 2020 to repeal the early childhood education network approval provisions, provide for a new type of school (charter school/kura hourua), and enable the Secretary for Education to make rules about attendance data.
Misuse of Drugs (Pseudoephedrine) Amendment Bill
The purpose of this bill is to change the classification of pseudoephedrine as a controlled drug, so that cold and flu products containing pseudoephedrine can be sold in pharmacies without a prescription.

Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Rugby World Cup 2015 Extended Trading Hours) Amendment Bill
This bill provides for extended licensing hours during the period of the 2015 Rugby World Cup so that premises covered by the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 will be able to be open for the broadcast of world cup matches.
