The purpose of this bill is to enshrine in law consumers' right to know the country from which the food they are purchasing originated so that they can make informed purchasing decisions.

This bill’s purpose is to assist New Zealanders with student loans to save a deposit for their first home by allowing compulsory student loan repayments, or a nominated percentage of the repayments, to be delayed and diverted to a first home deposit saving scheme.

This bill is intended to break down existing barriers and provide a fair regime for small-scale renewable electricity generators to encourage greater renewable distributed generation and to help New Zealand in meeting the goal of 90% renewable electricity by 2025.
