This is an omnibus bill aimed at strengthening the law to combat organised crime and corruption. The bill proposes amendments to 12 different Acts to improve New Zealand's ability to collaborate with international efforts to disrupt organised crime and ensure law enforcement agencies can quickly and effectively respond to new challenges.

This bill establishes a regime for the identification and management of offenders returning to New Zealand after being sentenced to more than 1 year's imprisonment in an overseas jurisdiction.

This bill amends the Radio New Zealand Act 1995, it contains a new Radio New Zealand Charter that results from a Parliamentary review required by the Act.

This bill seeks to establish a full-time Disability Rights Commissioner within the Human Rights Commission, and make changes to the role and structure of the commission.

This bill is an omnibus bill to strengthen the ability of agencies within the wider justice community to perform their functions related to law enforcement, including the detention of restricted patients, special patients, special care recipients, and other offenders.
