Subordinate Legislation Confirmation Bill
The purpose of this bill is to prevent the revocation of certain subordinate legislation that, by virtue of the Act under which it is made, is revoked at a stated time unless earlier confirmed by an Act of Parliament. This bill relates to items of subordinate legislation made in the year ending with the close of 30 June 2021.
Education and Training (Teaching Council Fees, Levies, and Costs) Amendment Bill
This bill amends the Education and Training Act 2020 to enable the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand to fix fees so that it can recover costs for all its functions and powers.
COVID-19 Public Health Response Amendment Bill (No 2)
This bill seeks to better reflect our knowledge of how long the public health response may be necessary, to address the reliance of MIQ on the general law and operational decisions, and to ensure that the empowering and enforcement provisions are fit-for-purpose to prevent and manage the risk of outbreak or spread of COVID-19.

Education and Training Amendment Bill (No 2)
The purpose of this bill is to make amendments across a range of matters in the Education and Training Act 2020 to give effect to new policy decisions and to make other minor and technical changes.
Firearms Prohibition Orders Legislation Bill
The single broad policy implemented by the amendments in this omnibus bill is to improve public safety by preventing people whose behaviour and actions represent a high risk of violence, or reflect an underlying risk of violence, from being able to access firearms or restricted weapons.
