Subordinate Legislation Confirmation Bill (No 5)
This bill's purpose is to prevent the revocation of certain subordinate legislation that by virtue of the Act under which it is made, is revoked at a stated time unless earlier confirmed by an Act of Parliament. This bill relates to items of subordinate legislation made in the year ending on 30 June 2020.
Parliamentary Agencies Delegations Legislation Bill
This omnibus bill amends the Parliamentary Service Act 2000 and the Clerk of the House of Representatives Act 1988 to empower delegation between the agencies' staff.
Education (School Donations) Amendment Bill
This bill is intended to reduce the widespread expectation that parents should pay voluntary contributions to schools for their child’s education.
Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlements Amendment Bill
This bill gives effect to elements of the agreement in respect of vocational and disability support workers, signed by the Crown and the relevant parties on 17 July 2017, and the agreement in respect of mental health and addiction support workers, signed by the Crown and the relevant parties on 25 July 2018.
Education Amendment Bill (No 2)
This bill amends the Education Act 1989, the Education Act 1964, and the Education (Update) Amendment Act 2017. This bill clarifies the functions, duties, and powers of specified education entities.

Education Amendment Bill
This bill amends the Education Act 1989 and the related Education (Update) Amendment Act 2017. The public policy objectives of the bill are to strengthen the quality of school education; improve the governance of tertiary education institutions; support the introduction of free tertiary education; improve the new strategic planning and reporting framework for State and State integrated schools; and resolve errors and omissions in the two Acts that this bill amends.
Education (Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand) Amendment Bill
This bill proposes that the membership of the Teaching Council be increased to 13, to include a senior ECE leader and a teacher educator and 5 other qualified and registered teachers/teacher leaders, and ministerial appointment to fill the 6 other member positions.
